Leving Legal Forum to address clients’ misconceptions about the law

The law offices of Jeffery M. Leving Ltd. will host the next presentation in the Arthur S. Kallow Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Seminar Series on Tuesday, March 15 at 6:30 p.m. CDT at 19 S. LaSalle St. in Chicago, and via Zoom.

Attorney Andrey Filipowicz will be the keynote speaker. His topic will be: Overcoming a Client’s or Potential Client’s Common Misconceptions of the Law: Guidelines to Help a Client Understand the Legal System that Impacts Their Case.

“Many clients and potential clients have the wrong idea of ​​what the law is,” says attorney Jeffery M. Leving, founder and president of the firm, who will moderate the CLE session.

“We need to help them understand the law and the legal strategies needed to achieve their goals. We must establish a bond of trust with the client so that he trusts us and follows our advice.

The presentation will be followed by a question and answer session.

The Kallow CLE Seminar Series, which began in 2014, provides legal education for family law attorneys and other professionals looking to expand their legal knowledge. A CLE credit will be awarded.
